Yeh the black's brilliant man. Really technical and fast. It's underrated because the red's so popular though. How/where did you crash?

Great camera, i personally choose pentax over anything else since there fairly cheap and you can use lenses from up to like 30 years back. Th3e k100's good, personally I'd go for a k10 if you know moer about cameras, just starting then go k100

I use a Sony HDR-SR10. I love it. Just bought it 6 months ago. You can pick it up at Future Shop for $699.

i noticed the quality difference instantly. Its unreal, i just hate not being able to upload that quality onto my comp. watch some random vids with it to see what i mean, for ex. http://www.vimeo.com/2098495
handling wise, its a bit bigger than a small mini dv, but a lot smaller than most HD cams out there. The manual focus works very well, a bit of an inconvenient spot but it gets the job done. tons of awesome features to learn on it, and most are fairly user friendly. so far i give it 10/10
i almost bought a canon gl2, but after comparing the quality the hv20 shoots clearer, for a much lower price, you just dont get all the features that the gl2 has. sorry for the rant haha

omg man i love the hv20, theres so many things to learn about it. ive had it for a long time now and still am learning a ton about it. Very fun camera, and shoots amazing. My edits arent the greatest quality because my computer cannot handle the HD footy, but im getting an Imac soon so i should get some good edits once i have that
